The past couple of weeks have been a lot of ideation and work to try and understand what it was that I wanted to work on for the next several months. I knew I wanted it to be some kind of performance. I knew I wanted it to be somewhat of a surprise to the viewer.

But I’m still missing a base in some way. I don’t know what that is.

Signing up for Margarets office hours was a fantastic idea, she was super helpful in helping me untangle some of the disparate thoughts in my head. I went through some of my research to see if she could identify any common threads between them that I was missing.

I started by looking into Andy Kaufman and understanding what made him so comedic and tried to understand what audiences liked/didnt like about him even with the knowledge that he was a performer.
