For my site specific experience I picked Transmitter Park - A beautiful park located at the edge of Greenpoint.
I read a fascinating study the other day about the eyes as controllers for video games. It turns out it’s a terrible idea because our eyes are wild! They want to look where they want to look. Controlling a pointer with them is terrible UX!
I walked around the park paying special attention to what my eyes were drawn to. Those would be the focus of my tableaus.
I started recording and wandered into the park and narrated my thoughts.
A stone head surrounded by shrubs.
Surrounded by shrubs and other earth elements, a lone stone head
Learnings:
I have a completely different pace than the person walking.
