I grew up in Dubai and I remember seeing these when I was visiting my parents last summer. It’s really interesting to see a country specific light bulb.
These are ultra-efficient LED light bulbs that are currently exclusive to the UAE.
The basic thing here is that LEDs get diminishing returns with higher power. The Dubai lamps end up using more LEDs but run them at a more efficient point on its power / brightness curve.
More costly to make buttttt lower energy costs long-term.
